Vertical ladders are usually used outside factories to reach points which are very difficult to access (high, vertical and often dangerous), such as cisterns, control towers, and wells, where it would be almost impossible to use other types of ladder.

The traditional type of vertical ladder can be hung from hooks at the end, from above or below, with special safety spring clips for easy mounting, and the whole structure has a very simple, linear appearance, always safe in every respect.

Another type of vertical ladder is designed with a cage like a tunnel, to protect workers from accidental falls and, for heights over ten metres, a platform for workers to rest on is included, as required by legislation.

Eurograte makes vertical ladders using pultruded profiles, and they therefore guarantee resistance to impacts, deformation by more than average loads and full electrical insulation, thanks to the non-conductivity ensured by the resins used during the pultrusion process.

Vertical ladders are self-extinguishing and need no future maintenance such as painting or overhauls. A range of colours is also available to match any structure, giving an attractive appearance both when they are installed and over time.
