Fibreglass profiles are fundamental to every industrial process and all FRP self-supporting structures in general, since, when FRP profiles are available in various sizes and shapes, any type of product can be created, both as a structural element and as an upright to support the gratings themselves, offering limitless solutions.

Various types of fibreglass profiles can be made, and much depends on the type of processing (mould and final cut) used during the pultrusion process, from which profiles with different sections going from a T shape to a simple angle, a square section, a rectangular section and lastly a round section (a hollow pipe) can be obtained, but in a great variety of sizes which are thus suitable for a vast range of uses.

Fibreglass profiles have all the qualities of a composite material and can be made with various isophthalic resins or in vinilester to increase their self-extinguishing quality and their resistance to corrosive agents.

The physical properties of fibreglass profiles, whatever their size or shape, give them excellent resistance to breakage, heavy weights and any external stress. The colours generally used are yellow, grey and for some special types, white and green.
