Fiberglass gratings which undergo the pultrusion procedure (known as pultruded gratings), have superior technical characteristics, since they are designed and manufactured to have mechanical and chemical resistance to any stress or substance, including those which are highly corrosive.

Fibreglass gratings can thus be used for many industrial and construction purposes, since as well as being as strong as metal gratings but much lighter, they also have the advantage of being self-extinguishing thanks to the use of insulating resins for this purpose, such as isophthalic, vinilester and acrylic resins.
